teaching philosophy
Art teachers are interpreters of problem solving skills and promoters of creativity, self-confidence, and appreciation. We teach about life and the skills essential to being successful and confident in the world. Ultimately, students and teachers will take these kinds of skills and philosophies and apply them to many situations in our personal futures. There is a bit of science, history, math, language and philosophy in every type of art. Networking with other students, teachers, parents and artists in the community and using as many resources as possible keeps the learning exciting!
