Jen Roth
Jen Roth stepped into the position of Executive Director of the Monroe Street Fine Arts Center in February of 2007. She had been serving for several years in the same capacity at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Center, where she managed the historic State Theatre and Art Gallery. Now she is greatly enjoying directing MSFAC’s wonderful school of the arts (and living closer to her family—including a grandson!—once again.) Most of her career, up to the early years of this century, was devoted to public broadcasting: she managed public radio station WFAE at UNC-Charlotte for six years and WBFO at the University at Buffalo for eleven years, and had previously worked at other stations as program director, operations manager, and arts and public affairs producer. Jen has a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Minnesota. Arts-wise, she is an amateur photographer, pianist and writer. She is honored to be at the helm of MSFAC, working with such a terrific team of teachers, staff and volunteers.
